The master's student was inspired and reinterpreted by Georgian traditional architecture. Alexander embodied beauty as a fractal system in the diploma project of the guest fortress Stumristsikhe.

Kubachi. Museum of Traditional Crafts

The project is dedicated to the mountain village of Kubachi, located in Dagestan. The village is divided into old and new parts. And on the slope between them, the student designed a museum: a closed structure that goes down the slope.

The project won the LMU prize.

Carpet weaving center

The project was developed for the village of Karmyshevo — one of the centers of traditional carpet weaving in Bashkiria. The carpet weaving center is the main public space of the village, where national cultural traditions are preserved.

Shukatun. Market in Gyumri

The location of the project is Gyumri. To reassemble the disparate retail outlets, Armand designed a mega-awning connecting with the ruins of the Soviet market and the preserved arched entrance. The whole structure of the market is earthquake resistant.

Sergievka

The students identified the main values of the village of Sergievka in the Astrakhan region — the unique nature of the lower reaches of the rivers and the oldest cultural traditions. The settlement is in decline, houses are crumbling, and tourists do not come. To preserve the unique image of the village, the students proposed a project to preserve the ruined structures under a new wooden shell and facade glazing.

African "primitives" and "first-order" feelings became one of the main sources of inspiration for a collection.Soft flowing forms are deepened by "cool" materials with a slight satin sheen (silk and viscose), and static, rectangular shapes — by soft linen.
