A project by photographer Alisa Abdulova (British Higher School of Art and Design) in collaboration with musician Vassa Zheleznova (Moscow Music School).

The project reveals the collective image of the young singer Vassa — this is a search for a real person within the circumstances surrounding her. The task is to tell what Vassa’s world consists of (dependence on her parents and close connection with them, a deep and personal process of songwriting), without using the direct portrait technique, hiding Vassa’s face from the viewer.

The project raises the question of the inner transformation of the artist, musician, and how to convey the depth of the artist’s meanings with the help of visual images.

A short fashion film that tells the story of a middle-aged woman who experiences a lot of stress in the workplace.
